This is the ideal tour for you. Enjoy 6 days by bike, passing through 6 different regions, each of them with its unique beauty, its traditions and its history.
Each stage is between 50-100km and elevation of between 900 and 1300+
4 Regions: Emilia Romagna – Marche – Umbria – Toscana for a total of 410km
Get to know Italy, from the Adriatic to the Tirreno sea. A sea of beauty!
Day 1 – Arrival
Arrival in Cattolica. Briefing and dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 – The Panoramic route
Breakfast and time to enjoy the first tour Via Panoramica and Gradara.
Via Panoramica is one of the most beautiful roads in Italy, so is the best way to start our bike trip.
Dia 3 – Â Bike to Urbino
We start crossing Italy. First stage Cattolica – Urbino
Immersed within the gently-rolling hills of the Marche region, amidst the Metauro and Foglia Valleys lies Urbino, a city rich in history and art.
Mileage: 50km /900+
Day 4 – From Urbino to Gubbio
Gubbio is a magnificent Medieval Umbrian city full of history and monuments that have always fascinated illustrious travellers and authors, like Gabriele D’Annunzio and Hermann Hesse
Mileage: 100km /1.100+
Day 5 – From Gubbio to Pienza
Pienza, a UNESCO town for the importance of its monuments and its urban structure, it also constitutes an ideal destination for a brief stay, a relaxing vacation between culture and gastronomy.
Mileage: 100km /1.200+
Day 6 – From Pienza to Saturnia
Saturnia, supposedly the oldest town in Italy, has a long and tangled history. The area has been inhabited since the time of the Etruscans, who called it Aurinia; it was the Romans who later renamed it Saturnia.
Mileage: 75km /1.300+
Day 7 – From Saturnia to Castiglione della Pescaia
Castiglione della Pescaia is nestled between the blue sea and green hills. This seaside resort is renowned for its beautiful beaches and large pine forests that continue as far as Marina di Grosseto, where they end with the magnificent Pineta del Tombolo.
Mileage: 85 km /900+
Day 8 – Tour end
The closest train station is Grosseto, from here you can take a train to Florence or Rome for your return flight.
The final itinerary may be subject to changes due to availability
