The castle of Montefiore Conca is a massive fortress built in the 14th century by the Malatesta family. According to a legend, here are still wandering the souls of two lovers, Costanza Malatesta and Ormanno, a German duke who served for the Malatesta family with his army of fifty mounted lancers.
