The perfect mix for your active holiday: Sun + Beach + Relax + Sport

One could not choose a more fascinating starting point for your bike holiday: the Conca Valley, an intriguing valley filled with panoramic surprises, natural wonders and charming locations. This unique path will lead you to Morciano di Romagna.

If you are willing and have strong legs, you can go up the hill in Montefiore Conca. The wonderful castle Castello Malatestiano, whose amazing position makes it look hanging between the sky and the hills, will immediately attract your attention.

On the way back, it will be interesting and worthy of attention to stop over for a delicious wine tasting at the winemaker Cantina Enio Ottaviani “We make wine for Friends”. These high-quality wines of fine taste, made with great care and attention while respecting tradition, go well with cheeses, cold cuts, honey, marmalades and their carefully prepared “spianata”, a popular kind of flat bread. Such products are extremely exquisite and are designed for anyone who appreciates natural and traditional flavours.

The path for the next day develops between Romagna and Marche and its main attraction is the magnificent Gradara castle. Renowned Italian poet Dante Alighieri made this location famous by narrating the passionate and tragic love story between Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini in a large portion of the Canto V of his Divine Comedy’s Inferno.

The path follows with the same fascination and landscape richness through the hamlets of the Marche region and reaches Fano, a small city located on the shore with an ancient Roman and Medieval history. From Fano, the Enjoy tour gradually leads you to Pesaro. It’s enough to stop for a little while and look up to discover the mountain Monte San Bartolo, a heavenly environment crossed by the famous road Via Panoramica. This road is quintessential for bikers and its maze of narrow streets makes it one among the 10 most beautiful roads in Italy.

The 24 kilometres-long road is characterized by a succession of gentle ups and downs through woods, cliffs and ancient hamlets which will leave the viewers fascinated with their colorful landscapes, such as the marvelous Fiorenzuola di Focara.

This extensive and exciting bike ride ends in Gabicce Mare: the so-called “terrace over Romagna”. The sea, with its green and blue bay, delivers a feeling of peace and infinity. A break to taste the delicious local products, such as the “piadina” with grilled sardines fits well. By now, a stop at the hotel is well-deserved.

On the third day, the focus will be on the castles and the art of the land once ruled by the dukes of the Malatesta and Montefeltro houses.

A borderland of natural beauties and historical events, whose hamlets, castles and fortresses have attracted and charmed since the Middle Ages. The well-kept valleys are a delight for the eyes and the spirit: their colors, which mutate according to the seasonal rhythms, have provided the backdrop for the works of many important artists, such as Piero della Francesca and Leonardo da Vinci. These locations are at the heart of the works of these painters and have enriched their masterpieces, making them famous.

After a break in Saludecio, known for its colorful buildings with graffiti, the path leads you to Mondaino. There, it is worthy to stop and taste its typical cheese “formaggio di fossa”, surrounded by the landscape.

Then, you will move away towards Montegridolfo, a real jewel to be discovered and photographed. The Ride tour continues towards Mombaroccio, while the Enjoy ride leads us first to Colbordolo and Montefabbri, then to the farmhouse where you will stay overnight. There, a delicious poolside light lunch is the best way to end the day.

The star of this last day is the region Marche: a land of gentle hills, unforgettable landscapes and astonishing food.

Urbino is perhaps the epitome of this region: its Ducal Palace, built under the Duke Federico da Montefeltro, and its streets give off a vibe of past times. The city center, enclosed in bastion walls, is entirely built in warm color fired bricks.

Another fascinating attraction is the road to Fermignano and Acqualagna. A stopover there to taste its typical white truffle-based products can’t be skipped.

Your next stop is the Gola del Furlo, an impressive canyon formed by the Candigliano river among green cliffs which reflect on its surface giving it an emerald color. The glimpses and the trails between the mountains Pietralata and Paganuccio are full of charm, almost touching.

The Enjoy tour ends here, with a short stop on the banks of the river which will enrich and improve the day even more. The well-deserved relax is at hand and, on the way back, the farmhouse will be conveniently reached by transfer. The Ride tour, on the other hand, will continue until reaching Urbania, then arriving at the hotel.

The farmhouse also provides a comfortable spa for moments of physical restoration and recovery of the usual strength.
