About the Tour

Set off to discover the places of southern Romagna, between Gabicce and Rimini. On the first hills of the Adriatic coast, rich Sangiovese vineyards colour the mountains and shape the landscape with geometrically arranged rows. Between ascents and descents, admire cultivated fields, smell the aromas of local produce and pass through villages, castles and small towns ideal for a stop and a tasting of typical products.

This self-guided gravel tour is a compact 3-day adventure covering 250km through some of the most dramatic scenery in the Adriatic hinterland. Starting from Gabicce Monte, you ride to Rimini through the hills before embarking on the most demanding day: 113km with 2230m of elevation through the breathtaking Valmarecchia valley, with stops at the medieval fortress of San Leo and hilltop Verucchio. The third day takes you through vineyards, olive groves and charming hamlets back to Gabicce Monte, where lunch at the Bike Cafè and views over the Adriatic Sea await you.

Bike note: Suitable for e-bike, MTB and gravel bikes. Rental premium bike available at €180 per person.
