Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Pesaro. Check-in and welcome briefing. Explore the home of composer Giacomo Rossini and the Adriatic shoreline.
Following the ancient Via Flaminia. Ride through the dramatic Furlo Gorge to the medieval town of Cagli at the foot of the Apennines.
Cross from the Marche into Umbria. A steady climb leads to Gubbio, one of Italy's most austere and beautiful medieval centers.
Pedal through the rolling green hills of Umbria to reach Assisi, the city of Saint Francis and a UNESCO jewel.
Ride southward through the Tiber Valley to the hilltop town of Todi. Enjoy the quintessential Umbrian atmosphere and fine local wines.
The final push westward. Leave the hills for the Tyrrhenian coast. Arrive at the Orbetello lagoon, looking out at Monte Argentario.
Breakfast and end of services. Transfer available back to the north or to the international airports of Rome.
