Via Panoramica was founded in April 2019 in the heart of the San Bartolo Natural Park, in Gabicce Monte — one of the most scenic spots on the Adriatic Riviera. From here, we design and lead cycling experiences that showcase the real Italy: its landscapes, cuisine, wines and people.

Our story began earlier, in 2012, when Cecilia Rocha Mendes launched Italy Bike Tour. Seven years of riding, exploring and building relationships with local hotels, wineries and guides led to the creation of Via Panoramica — a brand born from the love of cycling and the desire to offer something truly authentic.

Today we offer 9 cycling tours ranging from easy coastal routes to demanding multi-day adventures, always guided by the same philosophy: quality over quantity, local over generic, memorable over ordinary.

Cecilia

Owner & Founder

Originally from Brazil and residing in Italy for over twenty years, Cecilia established Italy Bike Tour in 2012 and founded Via Panoramica in 2019. She launched a Bike Café in Gabicce Monte starting in 2024. Fluent in Portuguese, Italian and English, she frequently leads cycling tours sharing local stories.

Silvia

Booking Manager

Silvia joined in 2024 bringing 14 years of cycling tourism experience. Previously based in Ireland, she coordinates all tour services and handles administrative operations with meticulous attention to detail.

Patrick

Bike Shop Manager

Originally from the Netherlands, Patrick left finance behind and relocated to Italy. He manages bicycle rentals, provides day-trip advice and guides multi-day tours across Emilia-Romagna and Marche.

Alessandro

Local Guide & Support Van Driver

Based in Rimini, Alessandro manages luggage transfers between hotels and prepares picnics along the routes. Skilled with bicycles and trailers, he handles any challenging situation with calm and speaks fluent English.

Head Mechanic

With a solid background of international experience across London and Singapore, Fabrizio is the mechanical heart of Via Panoramica. Thanks to his obsessive attention to detail and deep expertise in cycling tour operators, he ensures that every single bike is in perfect condition to keep you riding safely.

Bicycle Mechanic & Former Pro Cyclist

Enrico accompanies demanding tours including the Marathon dles Dolomites and Haute Route. He provides motivational support during the toughest climbs and offers massage services post-ride to keep you in top shape.

Originally from São Paulo, now based in Modena, Flavio specialises in guiding through Puglia, Emilia-Romagna and Marche. Known for his patience, determination and infectious enthusiasm for Italian roads.

Besides managing the digital infrastructure of Via Panoramica, he brings his hands-on vision to ensure a flawless experience.
