About the Tour
Have you ever thought about crossing Italy coast to coast? This is the ideal tour for you. Enjoy 6 days by bike, passing through 4 different regions, each with its unique beauty, traditions and history. A total of 410km from the Adriatic to the Tyrrhenian Sea — a sea of beauty!
Each stage is between 50–100km with 900 to 1300+ metres of elevation. The route connects Cattolica on the Adriatic coast with Castiglione della Pescaia on the Tuscan coast, passing through the Renaissance city of Urbino, the medieval gem of Gubbio, the UNESCO-listed Pienza and the ancient Etruscan town of Saturnia. This guided tour is fully supported with van assistance, luggage transfers and a tour leader on the bike with you every pedal of the way.
Suitable for e-bike, road and gravel bikes. Rental premium bike available at €400 per person.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Cattolica. Briefing and dinner at the hotel.
Breakfast and time to enjoy the first tour Via Panoramica and Gradara. Via Panoramica is one of the most beautiful roads in Italy, so is the best way to start our bike trip.
We start crossing Italy. First stage Cattolica – Urbino. Immersed within the gently-rolling hills of the Marche region, amidst the Metauro and Foglia Valleys lies Urbino, a city rich in history and art.
Route: 50km / 900m+
Gubbio is a magnificent Medieval Umbrian city full of history and monuments that have always fascinated illustrious travellers and authors, like Gabriele D'Annunzio and Hermann Hesse.
Route: 100km / 1,100m+
Pienza, a UNESCO town for the importance of its monuments and its urban structure, it also constitutes an ideal destination for a brief stay, a relaxing vacation between culture and gastronomy.
Route: 100km / 1,200m+
Saturnia, supposedly the oldest town in Italy, has a long and tangled history. The area has been inhabited since the time of the Etruscans, who called it Aurinia; it was the Romans who later renamed it Saturnia.
Route: 75km / 1,300m+
Castiglione della Pescaia is nestled between the blue sea and green hills. This seaside resort is renowned for its beautiful beaches and large pine forests that continue as far as Marina di Grosseto, where they end with the magnificent Pineta del Tombolo.
Route: 85km / 900m+
The closest train station is Grosseto, from here you can take a train to Florence or Rome for your return flight.
