How can you turn your travel into a once-in-a-lifetime experience? It's simple — just go zig zag between the sea and the countryside; live and breathe the fresh sea air and taste the traditional cuisine. In the beautiful region of Emilia-Romagna this is possible! Sandy beaches, green hills, breathtaking landscapes and excellent restaurants are all here, waiting for you.

Starting in Milano Marittima, this 7-day self-guided tour takes you along a wavy zigzag path through one of Italy's most exciting regions. Pedal through the magnificent Pine Forest and visit Ravenna, UNESCO city of extraordinary ancient mosaics. Explore Santarcangelo, a medieval gem of the Malatesta family, and Rimini with its Roman heritage and vibrant historic centre. Conquer the hilltop castle of Verucchio with a local food tasting. Then follow the famous Wine Road through Coriano to the Enio Ottaviani winery for a tasting of Sangiovese, Pagadebit, Riesling and Chardonnay. Conclude on the spectacular Via Panoramica and visit Gradara, the castle of Paolo and Francesca.

Arrival in Milano Marittima — welcome to Romagna, the land of good cuisine, sun and smiles!

Settle into your hotel, explore the seafront and meet your local contact for a briefing on the coming days.

Milano Marittima – Ravenna

Ride into a beautiful Pine Forest — enjoy nature, smell the fresh pine perfume and escape the city noise.

Arrive in Ravenna, a UNESCO World Heritage city renowned for its extraordinary ancient mosaics.

Milano Marittima – Santarcangelo – Rimini

Ride towards Rimini with a stop in Santarcangelo, a medieval gem of the Malatesta family.

Santarcangelo's old medieval town centre is magical and enchanting. Continue to Rimini to explore its historic Roman centre.

Rimini – Verucchio

Conquer the hilltop castle of Verucchio — enjoy nature and contact with the locals.

Visit the fascinating historical centre and sit in the main square for a tasting of local products: cheese, piadina and wine.

Rimini – Coriano – Enio Ottaviani Winery

Leave from Rimini and travel across beautiful wineries, passing through Coriano on the famous Wine Road.

Tasting at Enio Ottaviani winery: Sangiovese, Pagadebit, Riesling and Chardonnay paired with local products.

Via Panoramica – Gradara

Ride on Via Panoramica, one of the most beautiful roads in Italy in the San Bartolo Natural Park.

Admire its switchbacks, Adriatic sea views and cliffs facing the beach — something you won't forget.

Stop at Gradara, a medieval village inside an ancient castle and fortress. Retrace the love story of Paolo and Francesca.

30% deposit to confirm the booking. Balance due 60 days before departure.

Cancellation

Up to 60 days: €150/person. 30–59 days: 30%. Under 30 days: 100%.

On Day 5 you will visit the Enio Ottaviani winery near Coriano and taste a selection of regional wines including Sangiovese, Pagadebit, Riesling and Chardonnay, all paired with local products.
The tour includes 5 cycling days out of 7. Day 1 is arrival and Day 7 is departure. The itinerary is designed to be enjoyable without being exhausting, with time to explore each destination on foot.
The Adriatic Coast tour is one of our easiest options, with moderate daily distances and flat or gently rolling terrain. It is well suited for families with older children or beginners to cycling holidays.

We handle everything! Simply leave your luggage at the hotel reception by 9:00 AM, and it will be transported to your next destination hotel by the time you arrive.
